What do you need in hosted galleries?

Okay, here is what i want to know... If you have a script on your site that you can import gallery list, in which format do you have to set your file???

Here is more detail :
First : Does your script need a description for each gallery? If yes, What lenght?
Second : Does your script need a thumbnail? If Yes, what size?
Third : Is there something else than the URL that your script request?

When I refer to format, I mean that you probably import a .txt file, if I'm wrong let me know. Inside that .txt file, does your data need to be separte by "," or "-" or "|" or anything else (what is it).

Once you post all these detail, please also post the version and name of your script.

Here is what sites running Comus need:

Comma delimited list in this order - URL, Category, Description, Number of Images, Vote, Image Name, keywords
Example: http://www.testing.com/foobar.html, Amateurs, Hot Amateurs, 16, 5, tn001.jpg,Bla bla bla

Note if you ommit the http:// from the thumbname, then the importer will assume that the thumb filename is located in the juicylinks.com/ct/thumbs/ folder, otherwise it will pull the thumb in via http and try to set the dimensions to the actual size of the image found, unless you have set the script to resize the thumbs, then it will try to set to the category size, and if that is set to 0 it will use the default thumb size. Note also, dont use commas to separate keywords use spaces.

Ozzy, it would be ideal if your own script just kept track of all the columns of data, and then simply let affiliates select the data they need, in the order they need.

You can offer the URL, several styles of descrips, content count, etc etc and someone can just make a few clicks, export the data as a file, and start sending your program traffic within a few minutes.

Thanks for all the info. I like your idea Steve. If there is more script and how they work, let me know.
