Diet Coke with Lime

Anybody try this yet? I am drinking it right now and its pretty fucking weak. You can barely tase the lime in it. It really just tastes like plain diet coke but it leaves a odd slight aftertaste in your mouth. They are getting carried away with all these damm flavors.

I rather have a coke, put my own lemon in it and be happy - either that or cherry coke.

lol, no - but I wanted to give it a try.

Might be good with Whiskey, but I haven't tried it yet either way.

I'll pick up a pack tonight and give it a try. I usually order my diet cokes with lemon when I eat in restaurants - love that little extra "twang" :Graucho

Pepsi 99% of the time for me, if my stomach is upset I put in some real lemon juice. I've tried the Pepsi with lemon; it's okay in a pinch if you're away from home but it's just not the same thing.

Diet *anything* sucks. I can taste the saccharin in it so much, it's like a nearly-visible film on the top of the soda. It's disgusting. I don't know how people can drink that crap.

I haven't liked any of the flavored sodas yet. Stick with the originals.

The only one I will disagree with you is cherry coke - that is OG stuff and no other flavored soda can beat that.

I actually drink Diet Coke with lime instead of lemon in it.

But most of those added flavors to bottoled sodas taste like dishwashing liquid to me.

Completely forgot about Cherry Coke. I do like that and buy it every now and then for variety. I usually stick with Mountain Dew or Coke though.

and how did you discover what dishwashing liquid tasted like?

We have had diet coke and lemon and vanilla coke for awhile but bot got that yet.

I went to the grocery store and they had ice cold 20 oz. bottles of the stuff for 50 cents. Didn't even bother to try it. Nasty.

Why pick up a pack? Can't you just take "ONE" and give it a try? :1orglaugh

I've been putting slices of lime in my diet coke for years.

Tastes a lot better than that.

Hmmm I might have to try that. Being the Mexican that I am I love to put lime on everything lol. The Diet Coke with Lemon was a little weak, I prefer adding the lemon myself.
