DoNotCall list isn't worth shit....
... when it comes to those survey people.
Ugh. It's like a non-stop flood this time of year. |
Yeah, I am on the list too. It didn't stop them!

You want to here the real funny shit?
Fucking wannabe republicans pass it... Another 6 mil jobs are going to gradually go to offshore call centers. Where...bingo it is legal. Global commerce. |
If City bank calls me one more time i will spend the time and money to start legal proceedings against those asswipes. All my phones are on the do not call list it makes no difference as far as i can see.
A British police whistle blown into the phone will do some damage next time. Cindy |
Fox 40 those fuckers :thumbsup

Here's how to stop them...answer the phone, be nice and enthusiastic.
Caller:"Wanna take a survey, blah blah..." You: "Yeah sure, before we get started can I get your company name and a contact number?" Get their company name and their contact number, if possible their registration number with the better business bereau, which all telemarketing firms are required by law to have. If you get this info then ask to be placed on their internal no call list. Once they do hang up. Do that with every call you get, write down the time and the date they called, if you have caller id write that number down to. I did this for a few weeks last year and the calls have stopped almost completely. I've heard that if you get a call twice from the same company two or more weeks later, you can sue them for about $2800. I've never gotten that far. EDIT: Quote:

There are many who are exempt from the Do Not Call List
Best thing to do - get caller ID and an answering machine. I haven't talked to a telemarketer in 10+ years - LONG before the DNC list came out. :thumbsup |
