overture tool results for past months ?

Is there a site where I could see them? ( Overture suggestion tool results for previous months, not the current ones from the last month ).
Thanks in advance if you can help me with that :thumbsup

Not to my knowledge. I'd love to see such a service as well, help to determine what markets are growing/shrinking.

Thanks for your reply. :)
Btw, how accurate do you find this tool?

7 SEARCH TOOL

The results how often some keywords are searched, vary compared with the Overture tool results.
I don't mean that the Overture tool is showing more searches ( that's obvious ), but that some keywords are very strong in the one tool but don't appear to be strong at all in the other tool.

Yet since The Overture tool is so popular, I guess it's far more accurate.

Ah, and are there any other similar tools ?

WiredGuy 01-22-2004 04:34 PM

Each suggestion tool should be taken in consideration of the source. This one is for 7search and is specific for their traffic. Similiarly for Overture's and Findwhat's. You can count on the results being accurate for the respective engine but don't assume traffic measures are similiar elsewhere, especially from a suggestion tool that clusters similiar and mispelt words together.

Yep, but I don't use the Overture tool to see how much traffic I will get from Overture ( I am even not using them ), only to see how popular some keywords are ( or domains for type-in traffic ).

I simply wondered how come f.e "hot amateurs" may be a quite popular keyword with Overture but not with 7 Search, whereas f.e "nude teens" may be popular with 7 Search but not with Overture. These are just fictious examples, but I am stil not sure why different search engines should have surfers with different habits and interests.

But this is not a question I expect you to answer, just a clarification of what I was thinking about.

I think this is relative to the providers of the traffic. A lot of PPC engines are fed off affiliates who use specific pages to funnel traffic to specific searches which are usually the highest paid searches. This causes an increase in certain terms. I know this because I used to do it as a search123 traffic provider. Affiliates want to maximize their returns and since most are paid a percentage per click, we want the highest clicked terms and we push traffic to those terms specifically.

Ok, I was also thinking about this possibility, at least when it comes to 7 Search ( however, I don't think this can be the case with Overture too ).

thanks for your replies :)

How much would you be willing to pay? I actually do this already for a bunch of my keywords.

I simply wondered how come f.e "hot amateurs" may be a quite popular keyword with Overture but not with 7 Search, whereas f.e "nude teens" may be popular with 7 Search but not with Overture

The searches per month can vary greatly. I've had terms on overture be 200k one month and 400k the next month. Not sure why that happens.

LOL, you got me, you're probably right.

I was just thinking about something and realised again such tool would be useful.....maybe i will ask them if they can simply provide it..but i doubt, since it's probably too much data for them and not sure how the demand would be...

This tool gives you the Overture results as well as the top 10 Wordtracker ones as well side by side: http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/

Nothing specially for me...just something that could be useful for all the big and small domainers, for a small monthy fee.

That's what i had in mind.
