Fuck you mean everyone lived? dude there is a metal beam going right through the drivers head and body.....judging by the blood on it, Im guessing it hit the driver pretty damm hard.

Guard rails suck. I watched a friend of mine die on the side of the road in 1994 after a simple fender bender that pushed him into a guard rail. It broke and came through the window killing him.
Guard rails almost kill more then they save.

How exactly do you get a guard rail through a car like that? Some kinda magic trick?

I would think they ran off the road and when they tried to get back on, they hit the rail. Some rails just have a guard on the ends that when hit hard enough would do just this. The rails that are pointed into the ground snap 5 out 10 times.

Check out the first pic - you can see the broken support beams - it went quite a distance on the guard so you can see where it actually first hit.

Almost all the guard rails I've seen around lately have a break away system on the end too, sending the rail sliding down the rest of the rail when hit, guess this one didn't have the safety system installed.
