jerryfan2000 01-22-2004 08:40 AM

I got one and it was on 2003 March. Fuck ibill :321GFY

lorsha 01-22-2004 08:43 AM

There is no FUCKING way they can process a check revoke from this far back. I have one now dating back to 9/2002!!

You can't tell me a customer requested this 16 months later.

NO WAY!

lorsha 01-22-2004 08:52 AM

Anyone else? Check your CMI....

I'd like to know if it's just my account or not, lol.

Dirty F 01-22-2004 08:53 AM

No, an ibill fuck up? How is that possible.

jerryfan2000 01-22-2004 08:56 AM

IanUK 01-22-2004 08:59 AM

I fell sorry for the poor guy who got rebilled for 2 years. LOL

The poor guy prob couldnt even figure out how to login to the paysite. :) No wonder he got mad.

If he was being rebilled for 2 years and he is only charging back now and they let it chargeback then i can only presume he never accessed the site. I cant think any legit processer would let someone charge back a check after 2 years if they had proof the user was viewing the material. If he wasnt i think its only fair he be refunded.

lorsha 01-22-2004 09:12 AM

Only 2 months worth so far.

Was just told by Ibill, it is a "display" issue; and they will get me more info shortly. So I'm assuming these are not "real" revokes. We shall see.

And I disagree. I have 100's of people that joined me in my first month, and are still happy members. :thumbsup

Ray@TastyDollars 01-22-2004 09:18 AM

fuck, I was just about to put by biz in the hands of Ibill. This is the 4th tread in two days. Im retracting.

MarkIBill 01-22-2004 09:22 AM

I just wanted to confirm that this only is a display issue with CMI. We expect to have it corrected by end of day. Only check reporting is affected. Thanks ahead of time for your patience. We are in the process of posting a note on CMI. We will update clients on the CMI as information becomes available.

Im not arguing that fact , im sure there are lots of happy rebilled customers ( ok well maybe not happy , but satisfied :) )

Im just saying i dont think the merchant would LET a refund go thru after a 2 year rebill on a check , if they had proof the user actually used the services, but on the other hand if he didnt he deserves the cash back thats all.

I still wonder how most people arent aware of how scary checks are now.

Go down to your local post office and look in your trash can.

Thousands of returned checks that people toss after the bank sends them back to them.

All you need to do is copy the numbers off the bottom of the check and charge away. Much more scammable than a visa card. You might find the occasional user that doesnt rip the cc# up , but i ALWAYS see checks in the trash.

Im suprised there arent more chargebacks for checks. I guess the difference is , its very hard to get a bank to chargeback a check after 2 months. ( almost impossible without a lawsuit )

SoundMan 01-22-2004 09:23 AM

I got some 2 years old what the fuck is it with all these revokes?

myjah 01-22-2004 09:26 AM

ibill was good for me for along time, though i don't use them now, i will say i hope things get fixed for you

I have members since 97 when some of my sites first started. It's not uncommon to have members for life as long as the site is udated regularly. Especially my friend Grace Grimes. She has had members since 97 also and she gets emails from them regularly just to talk to her. So they know how to cancel and that they are getting rebilled.

Nice to hear. Pardon my freaking out......but if it continued at the pace it was going; I'd be out a few grand by the end of the day.

MandyBlake 01-22-2004 09:50 AM

I noticed the same thing this morning when I logged into the CMI. I immediately called Client Services and emailed my account rep. They both informed me that this was a display issue and they were currently in the process of fixing the problem.
Although this was very alarming to see first thing in the morning, I still trust Ibill and think they are the best in the biz.

tony286 01-22-2004 09:59 AM

Why would anybody come to here for answers without calling your processor first? The phone is still a fast communication tool lol.

powerbubba 01-22-2004 10:14 AM

I saw the same thing, almost made me pull the check processing straight off the site.

I hope it's just a reporting glitch, because not only is it showing tons of revoked checks, it's actually deducting from our signups.

lorsha 01-22-2004 10:36 AM

I was assured, that this is only a "display" issue, and nothing else.

I hope so... so far I only have negative income today

TurboAngel 01-22-2004 11:14 AM

Lorsha, hope you get things worked out.

:)

MandyBlake 01-22-2004 11:21 AM

Its obvious that it is just a display issue, otherwise it wouldn't have happened to so many people.
Now if lorsha or I was the only person to have this show up on our account, then it could possibly be a bunch of true revokes.
But it's not.

phillyrich 01-22-2004 11:21 AM

Guy ACH rules are quit specific when it comes to Returns. The customer has 2 weeks form the posting of the second billing or about 75 days. After that is is the customers fault that they did not check therir statement. At Intertrans we reject late returns.

Dont go with Ibill Use CCbill or Epoch. Not only are Ibill haveing check problems. But refunds are through the roof 500% more than CCbill.
You will be better off with CCbill.

Resolute 01-22-2004 12:32 PM

Ibill is currently investigating an issue with check revokes. It appears that CMI revenue reports (total and detailed) are displaying high revokes numbers for today, 1/22/04. They apparently believe that this is a reporting issue ONLY. More information to follow - soon . .
