Gifts For Clients?

What would be a good gift to give to clients?

Something to say thank you for working with us, and we appreciate your business.

An Escort of their choice? :)

I thought about that, but a lot of our clients are married with families and I wouldn't want to offend anyone. :winkwink:

How about the single ones? :)

Seriously though, you can go wrong with consumer electronics - games consoles, DVD players, PCs even for the bigger affiliates.

Flat screen monitors still have the "oooooh!" factor too (the bigger ones anyway).

How about a box of nice cigars?

Sounds good :)

Along those lines you could do:

Custom printer poker chips for home games
Custom Cards (same as above)
a DVD of their choice from a DVD store online
Content sets

Lots of ideas :)

What is that?

Kind of too broad of a question. I'd think it would depend upon the level of the client. Also, do you mean affiliates or true clients?

If the latter (clients) then I'd say anything from a gift certificate to Amazon, to a Honey baked ham or a nice shipment of Omaha Steaks or something comparable. It's not the monetary value that matters here, but more of the sentiment that says "Hey, I really appreciate your business!"

Affiliates are a little different, they are more greedy so to speak. Gadgets and monetary rewards likely are more appropriate here. Here the gifts/rewards for successful contributors to your business is likely higher in value to you - so the ante goes up. Tickets to conventions, hotels, airfare, etc. kind of things come to mind atm. Doesn't matter really how successful that WM might be, sparing costs to attend events definitely helps out the bottom line. In the gadget department I'd focus on tools that can be used to continue their biz on new levels - PCs and other hardware. I have no use for another DVD player but I'd certainly love getting a new computer to expand my LAN here.

just doing some free thinking... :)

3-4 Tickets for a movie or sport game are a good gift.

I sent cheesecakes to all my clients and most of their sales reps for the holiday season. They seemed to like them. In the past, I've sent chocolates, flowers to the women reps. For the owners I have on occassion gone a step up and got them some high end cigars or other corporate gifts. In general though, its the idea of saying thanks for your business and not necessarily the gift.

I always like game consoles and electronics like tvs and stuff like that

Like a few others already mentioned, it's not so much about the gift, it's the fact that you're giving it to them that matters.

Small things like a box of good cigars or a good wine will do pretty good! Try something in the line of that, and you're guaranteed to succeed :)

Could there be a problem with sending wine or cigars through the mail to Germany or the UK?

Not that i'm aware of really. But you'd better double check at the post office!
