how to unlock the aspect ratio
 

i dont know why but all the thumbs that i made have not been in the size i want. how do i unlock the aspect ratio from my system..

any clues to what im saying.

don't know which software you are using, but try just specifying EITHER the desired width OR height, not both.

some thumb programs allow you to specify both, and will give the the finished size you want (ex: Express Thumbnail Creator) but they will be cropping the image if the finished size you want does not match the aspect ratio (width to height) of the original.
