Anyone ever used a network tool to check what

information they're sending to their server?

Just bought my "membership" to it for the rest of 2004

Many people did that. Also, before we released StatsRemote many sponsorship programs and cc processors helped us beta testing the software. I think you can imagine that they tested everything to make sure we don't have access to their webmasters' data.

Here's a quote from our privacy policy:

When using our software your personal login details and numbers of the supported affiliate programs and pay per click search engines are stored encrypted on your hard drive. We do not have access to your personal login details and numbers at any time. Before StatsRemote checks your stats the software will connect to our server in order to check whether you are authorized to use the software. No information except the StatsRemote username and password is sent to our server at any time.
