Any Ideas What I Should Wear to a 60's Block Party wedding?
No, it's NOT my wedding but rather a couple from my Hash House Harriers running club (we're beer-drinkers with a running problem) who are getting married; they've asked all guest's to come dressed casually, like it was the 60's.
I'm thinking about either a wide lapel sports jacket (probably available in the Salvation Army Thrift Store?), or an old Army fatigue jacket (the solid green one like we wore in Vietnam, not the camouflage ones of today; and possibly a peace sign hanging around my neck and/or a "Happy lei" which looks like pot leaves. Am I at least somewhat on base? Any recommendations will be appreciated--after all, the 60's was a looooooooooooong time ago for this old fart. Thanks, Dave www.davecummings.com |

just go naked and hairy!

Wear some cut offs and some sandals. Don't shave for a while. Peace symbol mandatory. Head band(ala Hendrix) is optional. Don't forget the acid !
Done :thumbsup |
