Companies like yambo, paypal, who offer a credit card?

Im not talking about an atm card but a real credit card...

Any suggestions? If they can receive paypal payments and deposit that on the card that would be even more perfect.

I know use yambo but their atm cards are limited.

They give out real CC's yes, but no, they don't accept Paypal, unfortunately.

With sponsor payouts :)
You can also fund it with a regular CC, but last time I tried it didn't work, you have to have online access to your CC to input a code or amount or something like that, and the stupid Postbank card doesn't allow that. I heard they were working on changing that, dunno how far they got with it, you could ask Kimmykim

You fund it through your sponsors or with another credit card.

The card itself costs nothing if you just plan on using in virtually , i think its $35 if you want an actual card.

mule 01-21-2004 08:35 AM

Oops, missed your question about the cost....I think it was $20, I got mine through Flashcash

yup i buy domains with directnic all the time with mine.

With restaurants its a bit different , they have to use bank type atm thingies.

I think they will be expanding this , but as for right now it wont work at most restaurants.

One of the best features , is they allow you to have any name printed on the card :)

I just love that LOL i have a bunch of cards all with funny names on them like " HOMER J SIMPSON "

mule 01-21-2004 08:38 AM

There are two version, one is a virtual CC, the other a hard card that you can use like any other CC
It has ccv, yes

edit: both on the same account

Why does one person have a virtual one and someone else a hard card? Do they cost more? Harder to get? Why 2 options?

When you open the account you get the virtual card. You can buy online right away with this.

The hard card is a totally different credit card number , but runs off the same account. ( mainly used for atm withdrawls )

I have an account with gamma that i get paid and go to my atm and take out the cash 5 minutes later :)

Yep. In other words, the same account gives you a free "soft" card for online use, and an optional "hard" card for ATM's and restaurants and the like.

virtual card = for online use online
electron card = for atm machines only

Smokey The Bear  01-21-2004 08:45 AM

You have the option of adding the hard card to your account for a small fee $35 i think. If you want , there are no requirements , and it isnt hard to get.

The reason they have the 2 cards , is that not everyone needs both cards, and it does actually cost something to print the card , so there isnt a point in printing cards for people who dont need them.

So since i already have a card for atm machines through yambo i would apply for a virtual card now if i want to do internet transactions? And with the virtual card i can also pay in restaurants and shops?

Just making sure i wont look like a fool after a 200$ dinner :)

Dirty F 01-21-2004 08:47 AM

Damn, you people are so friendly and helpfull today, it almost brings tears to my eyes :)

Smokey The Bear  01-21-2004 08:49 AM

The whole idea behind having one is so that you can have a seperate card for online purchases.

And a way to transfer money quickly and easily to someone else.

I give my ex gf money on her card all the time , i send it it costs me 25 cents to send her money and it doesnt cost her anything , she can go to the atm 5 minutes later and take out the cash. And i have complete online records of the transfer

No, you can't use the virtual card in restaurants and shops, it's solely for internet use

No i dont think most restaurants accept it yet. I would ask kimmie about the viability of that , or the future in this.

ATM's are the only thing i have found off-net that work. * and companies that process cc's thru the internet. I dont want to get them in trouble so i wont mention the name of the company. :)

Wrong: you can use the electron card on local stores with the "Visa Electron" flag (PIN-based) too.

My epassporte visa electron is accepted in some stores and isn't accepted in others. It costs $35 per year.

I haven't tried the virtual visa yet.

JamesK 01-21-2004 08:58 AM

virtual card = just a number
electron card = a real card

get it now? :) and yes, I have a personal account.

Yes. Some stores do some stores dont.

Basically if the store uses the pin based system that you could use a bank style card in then you can use the electron "hard card"

But if all they have is a visa swipe then your SOL , so before you go ina restaurant i would ask. :)

no they just dont accept electron cards. visa and mastercard only, I think.

Dirty F 01-21-2004 09:06 AM

Now step 2 is

STEP 2 : Enter your credit card information.

Your credit card may have to be verified before it can be used to purchase an ePassporte account. Please fill in your credit card information below to begin the verification process.

I want to use for sales from sponsors, not my cc...this kinda defeats the purpose doesnt it???

Use my credit card to be able to use a credit card :/

No, I was talking about just the stores that "uses the pin based system that you could use a bank style card". Some of them doesn't accept my card here in Brazil (error that I see in the machines: NOT PERMITED). I believe it's because of different bank networks.

Sort of its for having a seperate cc account.

The best way to go about it , is sign up with gammacash or flashcash and let them setup the account for you. This way you dont need a visa card attached to your account.

When gammacash sets up your account with epassporte , you dont need to do a thing. Just send them $50 worth of traffic and they send you your new epassporte login username and password and a new visa cc#

Kick Ass Chat 01-21-2004 09:08 AM

Get a real CC from Amex, or a visa or mastercard from your real bank. Stop with all these online 1/2 assed bullshit creditcards.Just my 2cents:2 cents: :2 cents:
