i just saw the kids site and i was amazed Microsoft was willing to settle for just $10USD (the amount he spent for registering the domain). Too bad, the kid was asking much more ($10K).

he will for sure get $10k from microsoft. the story has recieved worldwide attention, and i dont think microsoft want to have there name behind shutting down a 17yo's home base business.

im sure he will get even more than $10k its called the we give you money and you just go away and pretend it never happened effect.
