Anybody here into jogging / running?

Peter Romero 01-20-2004 08:53 PM

Spunky 01-20-2004 08:53 PM

I like to do that after I do a smash and grab at the liquor store

fuzebox 01-20-2004 08:53 PM

I try to run at least 3 times a week, during the summer I either jog or rollerblade every day.

X37375787 01-20-2004 08:59 PM

I am into it, do it a lot during the summer months, but lately... not much happening in freezing cold OH

Validus 01-20-2004 09:02 PM

Was out for 53:15 mins.. at an avrg of 138

Vitasoy 01-20-2004 09:02 PM

Yes, if I spent the cash on something like that I'd probably be more motivated too :1orglaugh

When I'm running i don't care about stuff like how long I've been out or what my pulse is at, I usually zone out and think about life and all that.

Yea, you are right... I spend a good junk of cash on that watch, so I hope that will make me go... cause it would be a shame to just have another thing kicking around my apt.

I think its a part of LA, having a hard time still with the situation here.

San Francisco though...
Oakland...

Shits really serious.

LA it gets serious after alot of shit talkin. Or so I am told.

In Oakland San Francisco they just shoot.

If ya I ever meet any of ya in Real life I can tell ya couple stories.
Nothing has been scarier than seeing someone go bad on drugs walk around with a gun at a Rave.

If you're doing it to lose weight, you'll notice great results in 4-6 weeks if you combine running and weightlifting with a good diet.

Problem is, no one lasts longer than 8-10 days...

Mr. Marks 01-20-2004 10:06 PM

runner right here, playboi

Nah, I don't want to loose weight. I am 135 lbs.. soo... better not. Just looking into doing something healthy.

Ic3m4nZ 01-20-2004 10:09 PM

Sure I run on the treadmill like a freak often to keep my fat rate at 6-7% always.

Furious_Male 01-20-2004 10:12 PM

I try to use the treadmill 3-4 days a week during the winter months. When I am busy as hell like I have been I manage 2xs a week but between snow blowing, shoveling and snow mobiling I manage to stay in sync.

davecummings 01-20-2004 10:14 PM

Even at almost 64 years old, I briskly walk or jog 2-6 mile each and every day, weather permitting (I live in San Diego, so the weather usually cooperates); I'm a very active member of the Hash House Harriers, a worldwide beer-drinking club with a running problem (see the links at www.sdh3.com) wherein we do the hare/hound chases. It's fun, naughty, and good for one's health.
