The shows started to go down the toilet as soon as WCW wrestlers started appearing in WWE. Specifically, when Benoit, Saturn, Malenko and Gurrero showed up. Then after the WCW buyout.
There is a reason WCW is out of business, and those reasons are now wrestling in a WWE ring.
Almost every match has a WCW or ECW wrestler. Nobody wanted to watch them on Nitro or ECW, so why does McMahon think we want to see them now?Comment

Welllllllll.......even though it had some boring matches (ok a lot of boring matches recently ;p), it still has some good ones too. Along with some storylines that are still entertaining.

I only watch RAW though now, but I am looking forward to the Royal Rumble to see who will cross over to RAW. There's rumours that Benoit might win it and go on to wrestle Triple H or that Goldberg might win it and go on to wrestle Lesnar.

When those four turned up on WWE tv ratings went up HUGE. It was a massive deal.
WCW went out of business for many reasons none of which are Benoit or Eddie Guerrero. Both of those are top ratings draw. In hispanic markets Eddie is a bigger ratings draw than Goldberg, Angle or Lesnar.
Also whya re you knocking ECW wrestlers? ECW gave us the beer drinking Steve Austin and hardcore legend Mick Foley.
WWE is boring and in the shitter becasue it is written by a woman who is clueless (Stephanie McMahon) and her asshole husband Triple H who gets his own way and buries talent.Comment
