bryany, you bought an outdated piece of shit

should have bought a pentium M laptop

i'm looking at getting a new one IBM pentium M with 1.70GHz unless someone can recomend a better pentium M one..

from what i understand not much dif between M and centrino other than built it wifi , performace is the same

right on

Buying a notebook in 2004 without pentium m and wifi is not smart

Get a IBM Thinkpad R40 with 1400x1050

(centrino 1400 = M 1400 with Wifi).

very very good and incredibly cheap (should get it for $1400 or so with 512 Ram and 40 GB disk)

Or if you have deep pockets get the new

Thinkpad R50 centrino 1700

- with DVD-writer (instead of CD writer/DVD rom in the R40)
- 1600x1280 instead of 1400x1050 in the R40
- 128 MB graphic instead of 32 in the R40
- 60 GB disk (R40 = 40 GB)

3.0 Ghz P4 with HyperThreading is out of date? I have not had any issues with this laptop at all, its screamin fast and the 16" screen on it kicks ass!

The builtin wireless function fuckin rocks too :) I can basically go anywhere that has a connection and link up (via Cox Cable, Linksys Hubs, etc..) :thumbsup

Finally someone who agrees, LOL Thanks man :)

The big reason why I didnt get the Toshiba was because it only had a 32Mb graphics card and the clearity of the Fujitsu screan is just as good as a $3k Sony :)
