Just photoshop and a picture of the same gun to work off of. Its a heckler and koch G36.

I've never made any money off my designs, I'm not much of a designer. Just spent a few hours making the gun tonight because there was nothing to do, and the TV is broken or something :(

Whats interesting actually about the HK XM8 is that it seems the Military is intent to sticking with 5.56MM.

At least thats a little more conservative than past rifles using 7.62.

Ammo is cheaper!

If I was in a situation where I was trying to kill someone who was trying to kill me, I'd prefer the 7.62, just because it has more dropping power, which is always handy :thumbsup

You like the range of 7.62, not the dropping power:)
Ya got alot more range with 7.62 and anyone knows in a close quarter fire fight anything goes so 5.56 ya get more rounds to fire.

5.56 still has the near same result of 7.62. Both induce enough Hydro trauma to knock a person unconscious even if shot in the ankle.

Safest situations are always at a range with the advantage of surprise. Trust me. You like the range:)
