hmm.... not really. The nearest speakers are at least three feet away, with a good 16" of desk, books, and other miscellaneous shit in between.

Then I would say, yes, it's time to get a new monitor :(

not the video card.... I hooked it up to three diffferent systems to make sure that wasn't the case. Same thing on all three.

phones are on the other side of the room, audio cables are Monster, cable is 6 feet away, modem and routers are 6 feet away....

only thing close to this is the recessed flourescent lights that light up the desks. But the other monitors are fine and they're under them too.

Any Mitre Saws near the moniter? If so, you might here a loud roaring saw noise as well. Sometimes running power tools on your desk will cause these kinds of problems.

That's happened to three of mine in the past.

try unplugging and reseating the monitor's plug. never know what with all that salt air.

if that fails, strike the top of the monitor with a tightly-clenched fist 3 or 4 times. no more than 4 times though.
