Yes I have and often its better than new. Since they toss on an extra long warrenty with it.

mixed results,

but I did get a 20" Trinitron monitor for like 150$ a couple years ago, and its still going strong.

I've bought refurbished electronics before and it was just fine. Remember how dumb some people are and figure that some products get returned because the idiot couldn't figure out how to plug it in or turn it on. Good as new without the price tag. :thumbsup

I bought a refurbished printer/scanner/photo copier from Dell and haven't had any problems. Plus, I saved like 50% off the original price.

I just got a refurbed 21" Trinitron IBM/Sony black for $100 and $100 shipping the other day. Looks and works like new.

I also picked up a refurbished PC not too long ago. It's got a decent warranty, and I haven't had any problems. And like was mentioned..a lot of times refurbished items are better than new because early model problems are fixed, etc. And I saved about $500 of retail price.

I'm kind of a refurb fan, now. I'm sure it's not all like that..but it isn't all good with new items either.

More than half of the non-brand name products that you've never really heard of before but have cool shit, are refurbished and repackaged products.

The good news is, you get a great price on what is probably a decent product with a known brand-name underneath the cloak of whatever X-company decided to call themselves. The bad news is, 'refurbished' means it has already broken at least once already.

All you have to do is weigh the odds. Did you get it cheap enough to throw it away if it breaks, and if not, Is X-company going to be around long enough to cover the warranty on what you just purchased?

Life is simple. Enjoy it.

Jere.

yes i once bought a multifunction unit refurbished it was good as new , just get the extra warranty : ) , like you would for a new product anyways ....
Also get it from a reputable company not a shady , family owned place . There should be no problems good luck
