German: Snitzel Polish: Keilbasa Italian: Minestrone and Foccacia Scottish: Shepard's Pie Irish: Lamb with mint jelly Mexican: Enchiladas y Burritos Cajun: Crab boil :) Southern Soul: pinto beans and rice with cornbread. Catfish and hushpuppies are good, too. |

As for Indian food I would say their curries are good. A bit spicey but, very tasty. They have also things called Samosa which is a deep fried pastry with pototoes an spices inside. Thats pretty good :) |

My tastes change every few months. Currently I'd have to say my favorite is Afghan. Its a rather rare cuisine so I've only been to three Afghan restaurants:The Helmand in Boston (run by Hamed Karzai's sister) and two in Montreal Khyber Pass and The Cavalier but each of them has been very good.

Portuguese...
Caldo Verde, shrimp in garlic sauce, bachalau (about a thousand different ways), pork and clams... I cant wait to go to new york city in february so I can take the NJ Transit train into Newark and hit up the awesome Portuguese restaurants in the Ironbound section :) |

I have to say I don't have a favorite - I love ALL foods. And I have the hips to prove it. :)

One of my favorites is my countries (Colombia) national plate...bandeja paisa. It consist of white rice, beans, fried pork, steak, Chorizo(Colombian Sausage) salad, avocado, fried sweet platain, arepa.(corn tortilla) It's a delicious HUGE plate!
