think of it this way, when you buy a shirt, you have to make sure the shirt fits before you buy it. that's why shops have changing rooms.

free porn is like making sure the porn "fits" your needs before buying it. that's why you just give out samples, not the real nasty stuff inside the member's area.

I mean - say that you and I are competing for customers to the same niche. Then we would both want to give away as much freely as possible in order to win the surfers from the competition.

It would if they give away th eclue every time. Sexmovies will get you satisfied in what? 5-10 minutes, tops. A real movie often keeps you there for at least 90 minutes. Now ...

A 30 second preview with often a money shot is like 5-10% of your interest. What if hollywood starts releasing 5 to 10 minute previews including the ending. Would you still pay for a theatre ticket?

I mean - obviously VISA and other credit companies who keep customer profiles and crank their statistical number engines know this - but who in the porn biz tailor their product to the part of the population htat actually pays?

If he wants to view full lenght videos, he has to pay ( or search Kazaa, bot fortunatey not everyone knows it ).
