I have a confession to make....
 

I'm still addicted to the same food I was forced to eat as a starving college student: Top Ramen.

I absolutely LOVE the stuff. I just ate some. My girlfriend was just asking me take her out to eat somewhere after the game is over, which reminded me that I was hungry. So off I went to the kitchen to make some Top Ramen.

I like to mix 1 packet of chicken flavor with 1 packet of beef flavor. Boil the noodles, then drain all the water and mix in the seasoning packets. SO GOOD.

Anyone else?

Eat it for about 2 weeks and see if it still has same appeal if it does you are a trooper.

Haha, isn't that the truth. I had to eat that shit for three weeks straight and I was seriously thinking about eating my shoe leather before taking another bite. I actually went a day without eating just so I wouldn't have to eat anymore Ramen. That said, it's actually ok every once in awhile.

I live with broke college kids. They try eating that shit in my house but never get away with it. I can't stand the taste or the smell. I'd rather they eat my food than be forced to eat that shit.

Now I know what to get you for Christmas... a dozen cases of Top Ramen!

Ramen noodles are the SHIT! I eat them all the time. Right now I'm hooked on the ones that come in the styrofoam cup and already have the seasoning added. They also have little peas and carrots mixed in. You just boil your water, pull back the lid, fill it up, wait 3 mins and you're good to go! The chicken flavor is yummy!

I've just always been amazed at how they can make an entire meal for under $.50.

I eat Ramen every once in a while, call me weird, but I like it, never tried draining the noodles though, looks like an interesting twist, definitely will give that a try sometime.

all of you know that ramen has come thru for you in your most desperate times. for me its been a life saver on many occasions. one time i remember.........

Try going to an asian market and getting some of thier "Ramen" type noodles... They are the best, I got hooked on them when I was stationed in Korea, and continue to search out markets to buy the kind I like now!

I used to love them too until I found out they were partially made from impacted bovine feces.

I've tried a brand like that called mamy noodles or something. top ramen is good sometimes, but those are great any time.

You know... my second thread ever was a 7 page top ramen glorification. I was thinking about starting a support group. At least now I know where to find the first member!

$.50 Sounds like the prices of a chicken fried rice or Som Tam on the streets of Bangkok....

I love the shrimp ones in the cup (peas, carrots, & little freeze dried shrimp)... mmm

It's also great if you leave the sesoning out(or in Ive tried both)........add spagetty sauce, makes 3 min. spaggetti;-)

no doubt that shit starts to haunt me 30 minutes after eating it. Its reallllllllllll good at first
