Credit Card Logos (Displaying Them)

I'm pretty sure we are not allowed to display any credit card logos on "our" websites themselves, HOWEVER, what I want to know is we bought an SSL and a service like this below would then entitle us to? I saw this service when buying an SSL for a friends shopping cart (non-adult).

It may still be playing with Visa and MC anyway and is most likely not worth it.

What do ya think?

You're allowed to display CC logos on any website, almost every single ecommerce site does.

Yes, I but "I think" only the actual processor is allowed to display them. From what I understand, being under 3rd party billers we aren't allowed to do it.

I've seen too many sites displaying CC logos, I'm sure it's fine.

Just did a little looking up and for anybody that didn't already know, at least MasterCard doesn't allow it ...

It isn't.
Only processor can display the card association logos.
You can display if you have your own merchant account.
