50%? lol, anyone else amazed that even 25% is still supporting him? It's funny to see Blair being held over the coals for the same thing that's earning Bush a 50% approval rating, plus Blair hasn't near bankrupted his country. A nation of sheep is fun to watch, from the outside. :1orglaugh

Greg B 01-18-2004 11:52 AM

Bush is a victim of shadowy profiteers who are using his agenda for their own purposes. It happens to presidents usually in their 2nd term unless the powers that be figure he won't get a second term

With the high cost of fuel due to the record breaking cold this winter, people aren't going to be happy campers unless something breaks.

There has to be a major break in technology that drops the overhead the average american faces each month or we're doomed.

Perhaps his 'Let's go into space' thingie will cause someone to invent something new, but even the capture of Bin Laden won't help otherwise.

Who are these people? You know, there are some arguments for genocide. Sometimes large groups of people are just too stupid to go on living, 30% of a country even.

I am not amazed...and I am surprised that you would be. You must be very young.

r0oster 01-18-2004 11:58 AM

Just look at the quality of Bush supporters:

12clicks - he's said on this board that he believes everything Bush says. Yes, really.

And he's called Warren Buffett a "half wit" and "has been".

12, you really shouldn't piss at your betters. :winkwink:

And rooster - hates blacks, Canadians, gays ...etc.

Nuff said.

There are even more arguments to be made for the termination...with prejudice...of certain individuals...who are too stupid to be allowed to consume my oxygen.

Tony Blair's probably roasting more because he presented himself as a socialist but then sided with the epitomy of capitalism.

He's a traitor, plain and simple.

Finally we agree on something, all Bush supporters are too stupid to live and should be gassed. Good call pathfinder, you're totally right there. How the fuck can anyone still be that stupid? I mean, you'd have to be deaf, dumb, blind, and enjoy getting fucked in the ass on a daily basis.

The lack of anti-Bush coverage in the media for the last 2+ years since 9-11 is Bush's worse enemy. We've been taught that it's now anti-America to talk down on our president for any reason.

So I think any American who has been questioning him will be easily swayed when the mud start's being thrown.

And if it's Dean who is throwing it, it could be a mess.

Though I have disagreement with some of General Clarks positions he is my choice...though I suspect it will be Senator Kerry or Gebhart that is the nominee. I actually think that General Clark would be more of a problem for President Bush than any of the others. I suspect a another close race will be the case whoever becomes the Democrats nominee.

KRL 01-18-2004 12:22 PM

Bush's #1 priority has and will always be making sure all his wealthy friends in Texas and other rich supporters make lots of money during his administration.

Just follow the money trail. It always speaks the truth.

Nice to hear, but I do want Bush to stay though. People need to learn from there mistakes and giving him a second term will show them even more the consequences of such mistakes so they'll avoid repeating them in the future.

Don't say stuff like that unless you want them to investigate you.

How does someone with all these degrees come over as stupid?

Either he's being economical with the truth or is one of those book worms who has lost touch with reality.

Did you get all these degrees while you were in the Army. Or at another time?

I would be very surprised and disappointed in Americans if they voted him back in again.

His one good point was the way he stepped up and reacted after 9/11. The war in Iraq was wrong, he lied repeatedly about the threat. He continues to concentrate on the rebuilding of another country that will be sending body bags back, while the situation in the US is getting worse.

His two schemes, work permits for immigrants and space stations show how he has lost touch. Take more jobs away from Americans and spend a trillion dollars on putting a space station on the moon.

Wait till people start filling their cars with gas paid for with the devalued dollar and want to buy anything that is imported, then they might come to their senses.

Still fucking clueless and shall forever remain so. Since when does a single degree become "all these degrees"? Not that it is any of your business...but FYI...I obtained an Associate Degree before I entered the Army and attended University after I left the Army.

goBigtime 01-18-2004 04:07 PM

With 50% approval after all the shit that has went down - he's going to win in 2004. No contest.

Reason?

DISAPPROVING doesn't mean the person wont vote for him again.

Many people who "disapprove" of Bush feel like there aren't any viable candidates on the other side.

You may very well be proven to be correct. If I were placing bets...assuming that current events remain somewhat static...I would bet that President Bush is re-elected.

That is sad!! :-) Gimme a loaded gun and Bush would be first in line - then (blowing the smoke off).. whose next??? Rummy???

Throwing that lot in prison would be a blessing to the US and would save many more lives - they are not worth pissing on in hell.
