Looking for an AutoReply Script
 

That is fully customizable.....

Lets says Customer (A) send in a message as follows

Subject: Thanks
Message: Your service rocks thanks

The script would reply 15 minutes later with...

Subject: Re: Thanks
Message: Thanks for your interest in our project, a customer support representative will be getting back with you shortly.

Lets say Customer (B) sends in a message as follows

Subject: Fuck you!
Message: Lick my big hairy nuts!

The Script would reply 15 minutes later

Subject: Re: Fuck you!
Message: Thanks for your interest in our project, a customer support representative will be getting back with you shortly.

So basically the script would do a Re: Their Message then send them a pre-written message.


It would need to work on a catch-all for an entire domain, so it would work with [email protected], [email protected] etc.



Anyone have a link to such a script, or do i need to have one made?

it depends on what kind of software it will be... if it is server-software - it will be one price... if it is client-side software - it will be another :)

I was looking for an auto-responder to run locally on our server written in perl, but could not find a decent one.

I think you might want to download a windows app, have it download your mail every 15 minutes, and autorespond to it.

I never tried any of the above, but I am sure one will work for what you want to do. It can't be that hard.
