there's no way in hell i'll ever go back to pop surfing again. I know if the average surfer gets a hold of this, it will be over.

If this proliferates, popups will die a painful death...

wtf is a popup:) I've been using mozilla since they added the auto pop block. Lots of my friends use opera for the same reason(that plus the magnify option)

I use IE if I have to play with flash, never bothered installing flash with moz, and probably won't.

as a webmaster i must leave it on! scammers fuck ur sites up like that if u trade with them etc...

fucking right on, my google toolbar has stopped 766 popups :thumbsup

You don't even have to do that, just adjust your settings so check "Play a sound when a popup window has been supressed".

if you use the google toolbar with the pop up blocker.. it makes a click noise when it blocks a pop up... so it's easy enough to still know there was a pop up..

Same here. Just started using it. The internet is actually enjoyable again.

fucking right! i was reluctant to use the popup blocker at first, until i learned you could choose to keep popups on at certain sites. i've been using it for about a month and i've stopped 135 so far.

the google toolbar is great for blocking popups

control w was the best way to go untill google made this tool bar

i think its funny aol advertises NEW AOL 9.0 WITH POP UP BLOCKER!! and aol.com has a few pop ups.

i use moz firebird, i dont even know when theres pop ups anymore. all blocked :)
