P2P Marketing . Any one doing it ?
Has any one tried P2P marketing. The idea is simple, you put some movie files or images on a P2P system like Kazza and the assumption is that the people who download and watch it will come to your site because you got your site name on the image or video and they like your stuff.
Also if you apply DRM then you can force the users to come to your site. This part is getting tricky because P2P software like Shareaza mark DRM enabled files so users know that they cant watch it for free and they dont download it. I am trying to see if the convert ratio is less or higher then traffic from TGP sites. Thanks Jay |

Check the old issues of SexSwap for the topic. I have done it with a tiny bit of success.

well i haven't really done it directly.
but all of the free movies i offer on movie galleries are named as "www.redarchive.com-01.mpg" or "www.shemalekeeper.com-01.mpg" not yet sure if any signups coming from them though.. |
i used to do it but ever since wm 9 came out it has gone to shit because they took the default scripting to off so you can't really can't get them on the popups only really way to get them s by inbeding your site name on the movie but to me it was no longer profitable to keep doing. at one time i was pushing damn near 50megs/sec on the p2p networks. oh well i'm sure we all know how the net is milk it for whats its worth.

you could test it with just image's to see if there are any results
