XBox ModChips
 

Did you chip your xbox? I have a US version xbox, but I'm getting tired of not being able top play all games, for I have to buy them all from the US and not everybody on eBay wants to ship them to me.

Thinking of getting it fixed.

I bought a new modded xbox for 240 bucks or so. Completely configured and even some games on it.

I dont use it tho...wanna buy it? It comes with 1 controller and installation disks in case you ever get a new hd.

I don't wanna buy it, I already have one. I just want to put the modchip in. Saw a good one right here:

My friend has all xbox games so he will copy any game I want for free.

What exactly does a modchip do?

Mine lets you copy games and shit.
I can rent a game and directly copy it to my harddrive. And a lot of other options, i can play ps1 games on my xbox and stuff like that.

It has tons of options but never spent 5 mins on it.

i dont have it chipped as i play xbox live, but ive heard theres a mod chip that turns off when you go online now ?

I can switch mine when i want to online or something.

With modded xboxes you can still play online with a tool called xbconnect. It fools your xbox into thinking the internet is a local lan. It allows you to play system link games online that you cant even play on xbox live, M$'s official online system.
