ok since some people are in here
is this a good deal on a rackspace? Rack Space Charges: (Canadian curency) 8" - 9" of space $200/monthly 1/2 of a full Rack $600/monthly Full Rackmount $900/monthly LINK |
Connectivity should be your first concern, and how much power comes in the rack. Even then, the pricing is a bit high - we charge 800$ CAD for our full racks, 450$ CAD for 1/2 rack. (About 620$ USD for full rack at todays exchange rate).
They might be throwing in some free bandwidth at that price, or maybe even 30Amps for free..... |

Where are you located? |
Well then, atleast buy quality in Toronto. 151 is a great building, but you can get much better service then THT. Look at PriorityColo (Myles, the owner, is a great guy and they have a great BGP network). Peer1 also has great pricing in Toronto, check them out. If you want me to get you in contact with Myles, send me a shout on ICQ/E-Mail and I'll put you in contact with him.

If you want to make a serious return on your investment run the HP blade servers. You can get 250 in a rack and they are serious power.
