EscortBiz 01-16-2004 05:56 PM

netbilling is not a 3rd party biller

HunkyLuke 01-16-2004 05:57 PM

I would narrow it down to CCBill, IBill and Epoch

Yup, if one of them falters there's gonna be a shakeout. I don't think it's going to happen though.

GonePhishing 01-16-2004 06:07 PM

SoundMan 01-16-2004 06:18 PM

well Probilling was easy to predict........they were a tin-pot outfit of hardly any employees..........it was clear to see in their avoidance issues they had that they were short-termers only

the only ones to be around will be Netbilling, but its your own merchant accts at stake there, CCBill, Ibill, Epoch, and maybe Jettis

Verotel sadly will be next down the shitter unless you are European

KaLi 01-17-2004 02:58 AM

Good thing probilling is gone now rather than next week ;)

I have 2 merchant accounts of my own that I use for products and services and I get rates of 2.25% + .25-.30 per transaction with no monthly fees. I use 3rd party for websites and such where chargebacks might be a big issue like adult websites and such, but I would gladly run both my merchant accounts through netbilling...IF...they had a damn affiliate program and offer low rates close to waht I have now.

Till then I will stick to authorize.net and right connection and use 3rd party for other things.

Uh... Netbilling works with any affiliate program if you want... (MPA2, Monolith, etc.)

And comparing apples to oranges (authorize standard merchant account to HIGH RISK merchant account fees) is pretty... dumb?

Verotel will probably also be here but need to change their business model and only accept EU clients.

Geez Luke..nice to see you back among the living again!

Asta la vista to the shaky company, Probilling........who could never answer serious webmaster questions about VISA straight up & claimed solidity by associating themselves with big gambling. Yeah, like that reassured me at the time Probilling boys. One could see it was a matter of time with this company.
