I know I'm not alone, but this does totally suck. Probilling is still rebilling visa and checks at least until tmrw when they will stop credit cards processing completely. Luckily for us, we have been frugile with our cash and this one actually hurt the least. Perhaps ours can serve as a cautionary tale for all the newbs. When we got started in 97, we chose Lancelot. Why? Because they converted and rebilled like a fucking jack rabbit. When they went down last year, we lost 10,000 rebills (big fuckin ouch!). We set up a ccbill account and they were so slow we immediately moved to globill and bang we were off and running again. Then globill crashed and we lost 5,000 rebills (ouch!). So we went back to ccbill, seemed to slow again so we jumped on board with Probilling (zoom zoom). Guess what's next? Yup, we'll be loosing another 2,500 rebills:( What have we learned? Fuck the rabit, i'm sticken with the turtle. He always wins the race in the end. Slow and steady for me! Say hello to ccbill (if only we'd stayed with you from the start). 17,500 lost rebills has hurt us and our valued affiliates greatly over the last two years, but another thing we've learned is that if your product is good and delivers whats promised, members will return. We're already seeing a steady foundation start to build since turning on ccbill Friday night, we also finally have a sense of security. Just please, please hold on to you god dam merchant account ccbill!!!! If you are an affiliate, its also a great opportunity to jump on board our program, we're using ccbill exclusively now, and we have plenty of lost members to lure back, might as well get your share. We offer 50/50 on rebills and initials and have tons of new girls and our best content is still on its way. We're also in process with netbilling (hi mitch), but we'll take that slow, still at least a month befoe we get our merchant account.
To all those who are hurting right now, hang in there, better days are ahead and lessons have been learned (just wish they didn't suck so bad!). btw: does anyone have a safety net i can borrow lol.
