Probilling Stops accepting Visa/Mastercard - Cocksuckers

As you well know, these have been challenging times for all online credit card processing companies. We have decided to concentrate on our rapidly growing market of alternative payment processing solutions. ACH processing is the future of online commerce and is the most viable solution for eBusiness transactions. As part of our new focus, we are offering our existing account holders a preferred rate on our ACH processing.

Effective Midnight EST Tuesday Jan 20, 2004:

SmartCheck at 7%

DirectCheck at 10.5%, with No NSF's, No reserves, No chargebacks and instant proBilling account funding

Due to the increased scrutiny by the credit card associations we feel that we can no longer offer reliable credit card processing as part of our portfolio of services. We have decided to withdraw from Visa and MasterCard high risk processing according to the following schedule:

MasterCard: Immediately

Visa: Midnight EST Tuesday Jan 20, 2004

All accounts at our acquiring banks remain open and in good standing. All proBilling account holder's FUNDS ARE COMPLETELY SECURE; weekly holdbacks and regular payouts will be dispersed as usual. Your account will remain open and accessible at www.proBilling.com. All password management functions, consumer and merchant services will be operating as normal.

This is NOT the closure of another online processor. This is a business decision made to focus on the future of online processing and we look forward to a long and prosperous business partnership with our valued merchants.

I don't think the fact they aren't going to be doing Visa/MC anymore makes them cocksuckers. We all knew that eventually the Visa machine would catch up with them, it was just a matter of time. ProBilling are a good company and at least they aren't going out like WSB or GloBill and fucking over their merchants. I have to give them major props for this.

Okay, they could just go out of business and not pay outstanding earnings. If your rebills were that important to you, you would have secured them with an IPSP. You can't put any of the blame with ProBilling because you can't afford the $750.

Thanks for contacting me. I am trying to review a proposal that the marketing department put together; I don't get paid for my opinion...I just get fired if I don't give it. :)

Answering emails and boarding new clients is a lot more interesting on a Saturday morning. We will definitely be able to handle the billing for www.xxxoutsourcing.com. The only thing that worries me is the average transaction fee...it will not stop us from giving you an account but the rates may be a little higher than base. The webmasters are being hired on a month by month basis; do you expect the bulk of the transactions to be recurring?

We will work this out...I lok forward to having you as a client.

I only use Probilling for the online checks & honestly would've switched to ACH Debit ages ago if they would reply to an email or their sign up form. :(

the joke of a company, Probilling, is now gone even though they lamely try to hide this fact in the e-mail.......

I found them shady & non-responsive anyways.........it was obvious they wouldn't be long-term players and were small fries
