CNN acts like the National Enquirer sometimes
 

Its so bizarre the way CNN becomes just like the National Enquirer with these wacko celebrity court trials.

I turned on the TV and CNN and what do I see, a closeup shot of two closed courtroom doors. WTF? That's important news?

Now they're showing people leaving the court and its like a play by play sports event of the team members coming into the stadium.

:BangBang: I can't stand when they go this direction. Makes them look so tacky as a news organization.

fox news and msnbc same thing and they have live reporters at neverland talking about people comming for a fucking party he is having

News is starting to become entertainment.

I saw a 20-30 second shot of some idiot with a camcorder eating a donut for fuck sake. Not sure why they need to do an endless (and worthless) play-by-play like this when a quick shot of the crowd followed by a later update on the outcome of today's hearing would suffice just fine.

It's boring but you would be surprised how many people are glued to the tv right now for no other reaosn than to catch a glimpse of MJ!

Well really now, are they covering it to bring us the news or are they covering it to contribute to the circus-like atmosphere?

I agree, your news is fucked up. It's like they think no one in the US has the brain power to sit through the news without being entertained, so they give you this form of newsentertainment which is totally bullshit, and baffles the rest of the civilized world. The news is supposed to be BORING on a good day, if you can't spend a couple hours a day being informed without the eye candy, then you're either 6 years old or you've got a fucking bullet in your head.
