new car
I am going to be getting a new car...only want to spend b/w $15000-$20000, any suggestions...I just want something reliable...
buy or lease?
Kia for that money I hear they are nice and reliable.
Im thinking I might just lease actually...not sure though
Nissa Altime
Honda Accord Toyota Camry The most reliable out there for that price range. |
honda accord... bulletproof

get a Honda... I hate the things but thats your best bet for the price :) |
hmmm...
heard the new golf is not bad for that price range |

well if lease, how much do you want to spend a month?
VW Golf is the key.

Go for a nice Golf GTi.
Leasing sucks! I would never lease a vehicle! I do a lot of mods though. cant do mods on a leased vehicle if you plan on returning it in a few years. :(
I just drove the Kia SUV for a week while my car wa being fixed. It was a nice for that price range.
Kia sorento?
Nissan or Honda definitely. they run forever if you take care of them
What about Mazda 6? Cheap, luxury, but be prepared to pay more for service.
I was actually thinking of the mazda 3 or a toyota matrix...they're kind of similiar

if it is then fly with the Kia or Susuki, toyota brands Toyota is the most dependable from repair costs to the final end of it's life cycle. Honda is good but to expensive for what you get and repairs are alot more.. over head is high there..if youre looking a Honda then you might as well by a bmw.. don't by a 'Geometro' crap like that there junk! theres really not alot you can get for that alittle money.. on the other hand you could have a higher end car if you leased then you'd been up against a by out? I tried this method I like it at first but I didn't like my buyout options.. I'm alittle up on this topic as I own a used carlot several years ago in the early 1990's :2 cents: |
Toyota is better than Mazda

if it has toyota stamped on it there priced well enough.. skip mazda.. there not reliable.. |
I also like the honda element...they're kind of funky looking but I like them..
Nissan sentra at that budget
FX:winkwink:

Take a look at the Mini Cooper..you can get a decently loaded non-supercharged version in that price range.
I was seriously thinking of a mini but recently consumer reports have said that there are some reliability issues with the car....
pay straight cash for the car fuck the loan and the lease
I wish I could :)
i know that it doesnt sound too sexy, but its under you
budget... the ford focus is a great car for the cash. outside of that. buy a toyota that is a year old and get the most car that you can for the money. i would get the ford. |

I have a Honda and thats the way to go, they go for ever if you keep them up! :thumbsup |
Go second hand and by a real car that wont accidently get recycled with your plastic bags like a Kia will! :thumbsup

some one mentioned Mazda 6 you might as well pickup the toyota Camry there a nice little machine cheaper still than dropping money on a accord.. Honda's are reliable but the average person "white I guess" won't fit in a honda I can't get in one unless you chop my legs off and throw then in the trunk or back seat! he. he. plus there prices have shot up to high for what your getting.. again for the money/price range your after you have to stay with the imports, the regular/american small cars can't stand up against the import market.. if your looking at a new purchase.. have alook at the car consumers guide.. this will help you.. :2 cents: |
Look on ebay for something used like
2000 Mercedes Benz : C Class $13,995.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ategory=63 34 |

I have a Hyundai Tiburon and I love it .. although the 2003/2004 has leaped in price .. My family owns 3 other Hyundais .. and all have been very reliable .. the key is the warranty .. if anything goes wrong (ie. the first battery doesnt last much more then a year) .. bring it in and they fix it quick and easy (and free).
I know hyundai has a bad rep, but they've really turned around in the past few years and are worth taking a look at .. you can get a fully loaded elantra for the same price of a stripped down Civic. Other then Hyundai I'd recommend Honda .. I have tons of friends with civics and accords and they are always happy. :2 cents: ps. I have a cute picture of you in the limo leaving the GFY party .. icq me your email and I'll send you it. :winkwink: |
