don't know if it's something you've experienced in your neck of the woods but a lot of the African American kids I grew up with in the 80's would say things like that.

Another one is Hurre....as in come over hurre.

Well you have to get down to Texas ...I've heard hurre, thurre etc for quite some time...I used to have a couple of black sisters from Detroit working for me and I remember one day them commenting to me on how country the black people in Fort Worth were...said sometimes they couldn't even understand them...LOL

I was in a bar once when a guy walked in with his "trouble and strife", they were arguing a little, so all of a sudden he hits her right on the "north and south".
