Do any of you remember the company Xpics, this was way back in 1996 when they bursted onto the adult scene.

What ever happend to them ?

They ripped everyone off just decided not ot pay people

they made it impossible for thier customers to cancel, kept billing them, got a crapload of complaints to the FTC, and got shutdown

In 1996 I didn't know what is internet :warning

Sure remember them, made some good money with them.
Would probaly made a lot more if I it was just a 50% partner program, they said things was free but still charged people.

Don't know if it was the FTC that brought them down or not?

i never heard of anyone not getting paid by xpics

aren't they the one that got a hardcore raid , screwed a shitload of their webmasters and their surfers and got busted for it ?

They use to do mega prepaid advertising back then and thats how I did business for them back in the day.

I often wondered if they ever came back under a different name.

I remember my first xpics check... i was like holy shit, theres alot of money in newsgroup spam!

three more of them and i put a down pament on my 1st house

i was pretty depressed when they went down, i had to start doing real pages and sites to keep the money coming in

Remember they paid 18-20 cents per click at the most?

But they still shaved a lot of hits, remember they counted them all when it was at like 4 cent.

They sure made some shitload of money...

I used to put a little task that goes and clicks on my own link and then one more time in the next page and loop this shit back 1000's of times.. and I got paid every penny:1orglaugh :1orglaugh .... and guess why they were able to pay me cause on the other hand they made over 500mil in fraud...

oh my..xpics..they were the best..i got paid MAD money..sure in the end they got shutdown and some werent paid..i never considered that lost money considering how much they had paid me for so long.. I remember they had like 35 cent sundays in the end or something..oh man..i 404'd everything to their pages..

those were the days..

of course back then fast cash was doing 1 in 30 on 40.00 free trials..
