I need a TOLL FREE NUMBER - Who should I go with?

We are looking to get a 1-8** number for customers and models to call us nationwide. I dont need a vanity number although that would be nice.

I checked out a few sites that say they offer, but I figured I'd ask here so I could hear any praise or horror stories.

Thanks -

Sup Pornwolf -

Those look like answering services, I am looking for something like a forwarding service where they call a 1-800 number and its forwarded to my office.

good ole AT&T is who I used and they forwarded anywhere I wanted it forwarded and their rates weren't bad at all.

oh hell I got free setup and a vanity number with AT&T and you know they will still be in business tomorrow :thumbsup

Pornwolf 01-15-2004 11:44 PM

Most of the services I listed allow you to have differnt setups.

If you wanna have different lines for the folks in the office that forwards the call directly to them you can.

Press 1 to talk to The Dawg
Press 2 to talk to The Talent Department
Press 3 to talk to blah blah

You get the picture.

All the calls will be forwarded to the specific person no matter where they are... all by calling that one 1-800 number so that it looks like you are all in one office.

They are awesome....About 6-9 cents a minute throughout the Planet. Great if you do a lot of International Calls. Buy the Cisco ATA router for 70 bucks or so and plug it into your Router or Hub connected to your broadband.....Definately saves a lot of $$$$

I been using this for the last year

http://www.americanvoicemail.com/

They got alot of different options

I'm using call screening option, when someone calls they get voicemail prompt, they press 1 and say their name, then their put on hold and it dials whatever number is forwarded too. When you answer you can hear the name and have the option to connect or send to voicemail.

it cost like $15 a month
