If it was up to you to seperate the AVN and internext shows what would be the local?

what do you think? I think it is too long of a show when ran together , and that Vegas should be the local for the AVN, but that the internext should move to a different time, and local:2 cents:

smart thining joesho - personally I lean towards hawaii - hell if we are going to spend as much as we do in vegas, better do it in a classier environment.

besides the women Im sure in hawaii are not so fake as in vegas not too mention the photo op's with the scenery. Every photographers wet dream come true.

I have never been to Hawaii.

Hawaii ALLLLL the way... I agree that the AVN crowd is a vastly different one, but I usually attend Internext, AVN, AND BondCon during that same week - so there is real value to my company in having them all in the same place during the same week.

But, still, Hawaii would be SWEET.

well they asked for local and it is a heck of a lot more local to some of us than the west coast of the States :) However, so is Atlantic City :)

seriously, I would love to go to a show in san francisco..then my husband couldn't talk me out of going to the city. I am sure he thinks I will never want to go home.

Hawaii all the way. It makes sense to move it to a tropical locale in winter.

There is a lot to take into consideration, for instance multi year hotel contracts..... there are many advantages for AVN in doing both shows back to back., in the same place.

Hawaii is very expensive - especially when you get away from the West Coast attendees. Logistically - doing a show in Hawaii is very expensive for exhibitors & the convention company. Adult shows are NOT welcome everywhere! Especially in many tourist areas.

I think San Francisco would be a good place. I have always wanted to do a show there, but the room guarantees the hotels want is too big for me.

New Orleans should always be an option!!!

San Fransico is great for conventions.

Atlantic City is pretty damn good for em too. You can have one directly in places like Bally's Park Place.

Somewhere warm. California would probably be a good choice since most a good chunk of webmasters already live and work there.

Steamboat springs, CO I have some great connections out there for logging and the town is so much fun!!:winkwink:

somewhere that has a half decent public transport/cab network for those of us who would be without a car :)

Just not Honolulu.. Shit that place is just like Florida so there's no point.

With the amount many of us loose gambling in Vegas, Hawaii would be a much cheaper trip as well..
