we keep a bowl of dry food for him always, and then he gets a small portion of wet food once per day.

skufty won't eat dog food - and looking at dog food I don't blame him.

the dry dog food bowl always has something in it - my dog doesn't mind it, she ain't thrilled either, she waits to see if i'm gonna have anything better before eating the dry stuff.

she eats great, i give her part of anything I eat. even likes fruit - never had a dog before that liked fruit.

one of my best friends is a vet, said i was bad and the dog wouldn't live long - fuck her, the dog is 14.

I used to have a big german shepherd.
I always fed him twice a day, once in the morning, and once at night. He'd get snacks during the day as well.

I feed mine 2 times daily..but she has three runs and swims a day..so it's all good.

3 times a day 2 hands of puppy dry food :thumbsup When it gets older we will reduce it too 2 meals a day.

I feed my dog several times per day, but i set a certain allowance each day. If he eats it all before the end of the day, he just doesn't get any more.

After kicking him so that he forgives me.

we have a border collie cross labrador pup, ment to feed 3 times a day while they're young 0-6 months i think.

Twice a day (and they watch the clock, little pigs) with some treats for when they go outside and poop/pee. Though they try to convince me that if they just WALK outside, I owe them something. :mad:

If I left food out, they would eat until they threw up and then would eat again. They got into their food once and ate about 2 pounds (they're only 20 pound dogs). Their stomachs were distended and we were ALL miserable until their systems were cleared out.

I feed them the NutriMax overweight stuff and then some kind of absurdly expensive treats.

My Rotts eat twice a day like clock work. If I am late my 9 year old is sure to let me know by sitting by his bowl and barking non stop in 10 second intervals untill I either go insane or feed them.

your dogs are lucky... imagine they are going to eat just as human plus the fact that their foods are as expensive as man's food

It all depends on age, but I feed my dogs once a day in the morning. They're both adult dogs, but as a puppy you may want to feed them twice a day.

2 times. Breakfast and dinner! She doesn't need any more than that...no need for her to be a fatty!

My dogs have an insatiable appetite and would eat themselves to death if they could. Literally.

They get 2/3 a cup for snuggles and 3/4 cup for oscar once a day, period. Have to keep them in shape, to reduce risk of back problems.

One big meal with snacks here and there.

Twice a day for my dog. He gets 2 and a half cups each time.
He likes his kibble though, he's done in like 30 seconds.

I feed my dobie twice a day. He's the one that keeps the schedule and lets me know its Feeding time :)

Once per day plus snacks. My Shepherds got too heavy on 2 meals. Vet said one is fine.

Keep in mind my bowls are king size version.
