Rich 01-14-2004 07:06 PM

I've heard religious fanatics say a lot crazier shit than that.

69pornlinks 01-14-2004 07:08 PM

This is what they found on Finding Nemo:

Wanton Violence/Crime (W)

attack to eat with a father's loss of his entire family (400+) but one - Nemo (non-graphic)
fright factors
additional attacks to eat

Impudence/Hate (I)

series of posterior references and jokes/comments by young adolescents
adolescent defiance
"I hate you" from adolescent son to father
suggestion of flatulence

:1orglaugh

how they heel you found this site

bhutocracy 01-14-2004 07:11 PM

I have too Rich, but the mere fact that he put all that effort into a review and throwing scripture into it whenever possible........and his insance WISDOM meter........its unreal.

You know, religious fanatacism is religous fanatacism, no matter where it comes from. Lets imagine the shoe were on the other foot, as in our society with these religious fanatics and the arabic world with their insane islamic fanatics who want a theocracy. Lets imagine we were way way way behind them in economics and had rampant poverty and oppressive govts.........our society would be full of jealousy and contempt and hatred for their advanced society, much as they do hate us and our jealous of us now.............I think the first people who would be after them to blow them up would be the personality types that write reviews like we saw.

Religous fanatics are scary motherfuckers who blow up abortion clinics. They are freaked out.

There is much more mom/dad can draw from the above comparative study but for the sake of brevity I will not belabor the matter since I suspect our readers are of the level of intellect to be quite capable of gathering all the points of usefulness the CAP analysis service provides without me itemizing them.
Intellect? LOL!!!!!!

Good, funny read.

If one were to take all the pages of the Bible which present any guidance on personal behavior and tape them to a large wall then throw a couple hundred darts at them, it is likely each dart would point to a Chapter/Verse which has applicability to the behaviors in this movie.

Even Lassie doesn't get off easy with this circus clown:

"The movie included unacceptable material such as a child slamming things, facially showing hatred for his father, and saying "Why don't we just kill ourselves" in response to things beyond the child's control, thus fueling and perpetuating the general lack of coping skills of youth. Lassie also presented a child running away from home as a technique of dealing with emotional pain, also fueling and perpetuating the general lack of coping skills in youth. The movie also seemed to say to children that they could and indeed should handle any problem that occurs and are to do so without adult presence or involvement."

Children solving problems on their own and thinking for themselves? Mygod! No!!!!

"Lassie presented a minor child handling a rifle in a menacing way toward another child, an older brother trying to teach his yonger sister the 'ways' of older kids before her time, and multiple examples of "leave me alone, get off my back." Also, a teenage actor in the movie invited a teenage girl over to his parents house while his parents were gone: for whatever reason was left up to the imagination of the viewer."

I guess the Red Ryder B-B Gun in "A Christmas Story" would be out to then, huh?

icedemon 01-14-2004 08:03 PM

The same thing was said about Star Wars when it first came out. Darth Vader as Satan and "the force", like "may the force be with you" as god and so forth.

Bansheelinks 01-14-2004 08:11 PM

How to avoid Eric Bana nude in the Hulk............this is how according to this genius of W I S D O M:

"Regarding Bana's nudity, those who may choose to watch this film note that after the Hulk fights the demonized dogs at Betty Ross's place in the country, when he changes back to Banner at the edge of the pond, look away for about two minutes and that should avoid sight of the nudity. Since that is the only time the Hulk/Banner is nude after a few times of changing to and from the Hulk, it is glaringly obvious that this piece was put there just to get a little skin sin in the show."

Is this flake fanatic a piece of work or what?

:2 cents:

"Offense to God (O)

unholy transformation by evil power
talking trees
unholy healing
evil control
unholy possession "

I wonder what God's opinion on "Talking Trees" is?

Seems I totally stole damian2001's post template. :1orglaugh

cluck 01-14-2004 08:35 PM

They also list facial piercings and tattoo's in the movies as items of hate. I don't get it.

Well, you gotta watch out for those talking trees. They are shifty-eyed and always up to something.

Wow, I thought it was a joke af first. Shit they mean that!

Libertine 01-14-2004 09:35 PM

The guy on that site actually claims drinking wine is sinful. Didn't Jesus himself turn water into wine? :eek7

Always funny to see religious fanatics who think they know everything better than their own god..

Daen 01-14-2004 11:00 PM

Weird thing is that he liked Reservoir Dogs.

"Use of violence and violent metaphors use in correct context"

His only criticism is...

"Two men fail to wash hands after urination"

Go figure?

I the site along those lines that I love is http://www.screenit.com ..i have been reading it every now and then for years now when I need to feel mentally stable in realation to someone else.

We first discovered it after we went to see Crouching Tiger .

In particular I liked their drug abuse section where they note that "Jen orders several things, including some warm wine" and the the smoking serction where they report back that "Miscellaneous characters smoke sort some of pipes"

Bansheelinks 01-15-2004 11:03 AM

what a bunch of nutty sites. secretly, i think these ppl want to use this as an excuse to actually attend and watch these movies, which, morally, they could not possibly attend normally. this is their secret excuse to go watch what is "forbidden."

what a bunch of losers.

fun2cboys 01-15-2004 11:06 AM

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-15-2004 11:40 AM

"Satan is the greatest trickster known to man. Satan has been very successful at tricking us. His first trick was mixing God's Truth with lies in fine-sounding argument and smooth talk -- Eve was the first victim of such deceit. And we have all suffered for it. One of Satan's greatest tricks is to convince many that God does not exist, keenly mixing that trick with the trick of convincing many others to think they don't need God: that we can deal with life, and death, all by ourselves, all on our own."
Blah blah...

Yes of course this all must be true.

I really do not know why people buy all this shit...

Bansheelinks 01-15-2004 08:46 PM

Dude, its called "Cultish thinking"..........giving your logic and reason over to someone else and their will......these ppl may as well be following the Reverand Moon or Jim Jones........however, did you see that guy's list? there must be around 500 movies on it at least.........I think he uses this "reporting back to his diseased flock" as an excuse to watch what he really wants to watch, and that is, the movies. All in the guise of "looking out for his people".............and his intellectualizing of it is tortured and laughable............that W.I.S.D.O.M. categorizing is downright hilarious!
