suggestions for laptop-
hey guys,
appreciate any suggestions for a laptop. I will be using it for video editing, web dev stuff. possibly accounting. thanks |
If you don't need it to be totally portable then the Alienware models are probably the most powerful you can get.
If you need good battery life then look elsewhere. |
Hey. We are also looking for a laptop that will be a do all machine... We were thinking in the lines of the HP AMD with the 17 inch monitor...
Still thinking about it... Thought about a Dell also, but getting them fixed is a pain in the ass unless you pay the 3 or 4 hundred for the in home service.. |
g5 or vaio

Sony Vaio is the way to go - using them for over 3 years so far...kinda expensive but well worth it... |
PowerBook is the only way to go, and if you buy one now you can get the new version of Final Cut Express for $99. http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL....1.1.1.0.0.1.0
