how do i buy a domain from someone
 

first time buying a domain from someone, and i need some advice..

i don't want to get burnt, so i'm going to be using www.escrow.com..

the part i'm unclear on is, how does the seller transfer ownership to me?

At some registrars you can just open an account there and he can push it into your account.

For others, just start a transfer to your registrar and have him approve it.
