I think the majority of my friends who are banking $20,000 a month average is considered pretty good. My webmaster friends that spam their own sites usually bring $30,000 - $40,000 a month. Which is considered pimp by me.

no, you're not a pimp if you're referring to yourself as being a pimp only on the account of how much money you make.. you make money by spamming people's email boxes, doesn't have anything to do with being a true pimp.

the obvious definition of a pimp is "one who solicits for a prostitute or brothel and lives off the earnings"..

but of course, most people who refer to themselves as pimps obviously don't use it in that sense... but they refer to themselves as being pimps in the sense that they are "above" everyone and think they're COOL & Hard...

being a pimp, in my mind, is not about how much money you make.. but more of what kind of person you are. i think those qualities are being well rounded (good at everything), smart, sociable.. and most importantly HUMBLE.
