I am outta here! (My first final farewwell tour)

It is a shame. Because I sort of like this borad.

The thing is - just like everybody else I am selling something, and noone here bothers to even click - I mean - I look at incoming traffic and its like a couple of clikcs if I spend hours on this board.

My time is better spent constructing fucking free sites - though the audience is of curse not so sphisticated.

And it is no surprise either - I mean how often do I click on someone elses banner?

Well -anyway thanks to those people who have helped me in the past. Maybe in another life.

Well just having a banner in your sig will not do you any good.

You need to be more proactive, and contact people, let them know what you can do for them. There is a sizable chunk of people you can meet off the boards who will recognize your board name, use that to your advantage and pitch them on your product.

Spending all day whoring on a board trying to get sig clicks is just lame, fuck off.

Dirty F 01-14-2004 09:05 AM

Wtf, you actually post here in the hope someone clicks your banner?

Wow.

playa 01-14-2004 09:07 AM

lol, you miss the whole point of having a forum

Thanx - of course you are right. As I do not live in the states I do not really expect to network with people in that why.

You mention that I should let people know what I can do for them. The truth is I hate being obvious. I think I have very good opportunity to offer, a good way to make some money, but I hate the idea of writing it on peoples noses - and it also becomes even more spammy than me.

Thank you for your advice anyway :)

But it was my fans who finally made me decide not to leave. I had to come back. :)

Man, build some sites and shit first, then start networking.
You dont need anybody to start.
And dont think opening yet another tgp will make you money. Be a bit creative.

Wow.

Well, partially yes.

I have had plenty of help from people here. When i first strted thinking along what kind of business this is I had no idea what a freesite was, how one earned money off of one, what an affiliate program was and so fort.

And it was mainly people here who helped me figure that stuff out.

But yes - as I feel I have something to offer - yeah, sure, ihope someone clicks my banner.

Now however I realize my stupidity
:(

So - offering a totally new and unique product is not enough?
