My rant for today ~ Porn vs. Prostitution
 

Porn:

Someone pays a girl to exploit herself while having sex, the more of a dirty slut she acts like, the more she gets paid! In turn someone else pays to view this material via movie, magazine, internet, or any other means.


Prostitution:

Someone pays someone else to perform sexual acts with/for them.


In both cases someone is being paid to perform sexual acts for someone other than their significant other(s). So is there really a difference? Should one be illigal and the other is fine as long as your consenting age?


Personally i would never pay a prostitute since i can always get it for free, and since id be deathly afraid to catch something.

But a single mother raising a child or 2, having no means to put food on the table other than to sell the single thing in her posession that someone else desires ... should she be denied this right?

Its all about supply and demand if you ask me. If enough people are willing to pay for it, and enough people are willing to sell it, then let them satisfy each others needs!

A 60yr old man with no hope of getting any pussy worth wanting has more money than god, a 30yr old single mom trying to raise a small child has not enough money for a loaf of bread. Is it really wrong for her to make a dime off his hunger?

givernments should regulate the industry so its safer, then it would be much better for the community

never said anything about questioning anything, im simply stating we should not frown upon one, if the other is so freely distributed.

red light district or the equivelent would easily fix this. Make it illigal to solicit on streets, as someone said above it would be fine if it were regulated.

only my thoughts though, sure there is someone out there with a much more logical reason why it should be illigal.

the ONLY thing i can see is that porn wont spread disease, where unmonitored prostitutes would.

but again, a little regulation and rules for them would fix that for the most part i would think.

they got cheap ass dirty hotels around here that they rent out by the hour that they take the girls by my house. i wish there was something i could do about it so i dont have to look at them all the time but there really isnt.

yep we got one here where there seams to be girls that live there and hang out on the walkway all night long waiting for single guys to pull in.

Im sure the cops are on the take or else it would have been shut down, but its known to be like that for many years.

the ranchs in nevada had it right....put them in an area...regulate them, test the girls and make it a true business....some escorts services take pride in that too....but itll cost ya....

i agree to make "prostitution" legal......why cant you pay for sex....we do in many different senses (dinners, shows, those rings we buy for them)...money is still spent

but the "advertisment" of being a hooker is the vision the we dont find apealing....
