I'm watching another one of those crime series on court tv and once again the murdered lady uses the same old self defense that always fails.

So listen up.

Scratching is a last resort used only when you know you're going out and you want to leave a mark on the bastard and some DNA under your nails. Otherwise skip that.

Use a closed fist to the nose. Drive the nose back into the brain.
Throw with your stongest arm first and follow thru to any part of the head with the other fist. Think combination punch. Always be prepared to throw two good fucking punches in a row. Punch upwards and thru the nose every time; don't just hit him on the nose!!

If your nails are too long for a good closed fist then use a "ridge hand". To make a ridge hand act like you are waving to some one, now bend the fingers toward the palm at the second joint(the knuckle joint) and leave the thumb extend out and back.
Now bend the wrist backward. Now that area where the wrist meets the palm is your striking point but more of the bottom of your palm. Think about pushing a table across the room with your palms up. Now imagine that the table edge is the nose of some bastard and that's the part of the hand that you hit them with. Use that part of the palm to drive upwards and thru the nose with a hard striking blow. Combo and follow up with the other hand. Always think combo punch. Don't throw both at the same time; one after the other. Let his head recoil right into the second punch.

If you don't like ridge hands then use a chop(Karate chop).
Keep the fingers together; no space between the fingers.
Strike the head at the temple. Aim your chop to the side of the head and directly behind the eye. Use a criss-cross patern.
In other word: chop to the temple and go the the oposite side exactly the same with the other hand(combo) then follow up by chopping to the inside and down across the nose with the second combo. You need to switch directions of your chops because the next chop will be blocked after the bastard realizes where you are hitting him. Repeat the pattern.

Skip the often taught knee to the groin. That shit never works!

That's a fucking fantasy move devised by some motherfucker who never had a street fight. It's all but completely impossible to hit a guy in the nuts during a fight.

If you get pinned down and the punches/chops aint working then go for the juggler!!! Grab the side of the neck right where that neck muscle is on the side and place the thumb directly in the treachia (that little indentation on the neck where doctors put the tube when a patient can't breath). Now squeeze the neck hard while thrusting your thumb into the treachia. Don't be shy...you are now trying to kill the motherfucker!!!

Don't go for the juggler unless you have to...not because you care about killing the SOB, but because going from the juggler means you can't run away! You have to maintain the hold on the neck until the attacker goes out and he's probably going to be punching the shit out of you at the same time. So go for punches first and try to put him down so you can get away.


Practice: Put a couple of pillows from the couch on the bed and chop and punch like hell to get the feel of busting some ass!!!

Finally: Temperment: Work on going from Zero to Bitch in 0.0025 seconds. Turn on a funny tv show and watch it then all of a sudden jump up and attack the fucking pillows like your are going to kill them. You gotta know how to react with force in an instance. Most people get their ass beat simply because they freeze!!!

I know this is not reallyy the place for this kind of post but I've been in 100 or so street fights and I never lost a single fucking one. The ambulance (when it came) always came for the other motherfucker. I just felt like sharing since I was on the board and the tv show pissed me off.

Seriously, these things work. I think every girl should know how to defend herself and this is what I've learned.

Heel of your hand to the face. Smash his nose in and up as hard and fast as you can.

Elbow to the throat will stop someone coming up behind you.

If you are grabbed by the wrist, twist away from them and pull your hand down and out towards their thumb. It's hard to describe without showing it, but twist into the weakest part of the grip and you'll get away.

And then there are the eyeballs. Don't scratch their face. If you can get your hands up there, push your thumbs into the eye sockets in the corner by the bridge of the nose. You can do it face to face, but if they have you from behind, you can put your hands up and over your head and get them in the eyes from above.

And don't bother kicking in the nuts. It's much more effective if you have the opportunity to grab, squeeze with everything you've got and twist. Then run like hell to get away as it won't him them down very long.
