Don't waste time making plans for Cancun. I just booked a round trip ticket from Atlanta for less than 400 bucks. It is during Spring Break so prices are going to soar.

It's $500 from San Diego. There isn't a direct flight from San Diego to Cancun. I have to go through Mexico City. I would really like to go and am still debating it, but I think the scheduling could have been much better.

$400 is cheap. $600 from Dallas. Cancun and other mexican vacation spots are never cheap to fly into. Unless you get a package charter deal. I pay $600 to fly to cabo all the time. Kinda fucked up when KingK can get to Dallas from Spain for $600, then cost him another $600 just for a 2 hour flight to Cabo.

I got a quote 2 weeks ago for 2000$ flight and hotel for 5 day's.
Connecting flight thru Mexico or Toronto.

BTW, Cancun during spring break is NUTS. If you are young, an idiot, you will love the atmosphere. Thats why I am going to stay at the Ritz, they have a no "spring breakers" policy. Will be quiet in case someone actually wants to do some biz. Figure when I was drunken idiots, can drive 5 mins. to omni.
