I havent updated my portfolio with my most recent stuff because of gallery copiers, but surely I have templates online.

Well guys: this is a client who bought galleries from candyflip and he sees they have been copied from my portfolio.

I dont want this thread to turn into a canyflip copies me thread, but this only furthers my point about him copying me and selling the templates.

It sucks, but there really isnt much to do, this guy has his girlfriend design the templates, and tells her to look through mine for layouts, what can I do?

And you are 100% the template you showed are clearly copied from my designs.

gallery copiers suck.

thats why I am not updating my portfolio, no need, I have plenty of clients and my reputation is great.

There is enough of my work, and my latest stuff looks even better, I am always ahead of the copiers. I dont want to see this thread turn negative, but it kinda sucks to have people emailing you claiming they bought templates from someone and then find the copied templates on my server, anyhow...

id also like to say this deal can extend pass just 2 templates, I forgot to add that.

most people are hitting me up just for 2 templates.

If you want 4, it will be 50 and so on, since I normally do 4 templates for 100 bucks, its working out to like a 50% deal so, anything up to 10 templates for $175.

If I offered it any more than that I would bury myself in work, I am aiming to fill up my next couple weeks with these orders so I can spend my spare time on a second project, so again, just hit me up today with your order and its on.

Why don't you try putting jpeg's of the design's in small hahahahahahahahahaha popup windows? I've seen other designers do this and it sure would make copying the galleries tough.

Tried that and more oftan than not folks want to see full size versions and I prefer it this way.

I really shouldnt have to not have a nice full size portfolio because of thieves, the crooks shouldnt steal, anyone that comes to me for work should be able tyo see full size designs and not jpeg screens, I know if I was looking for design work I wouldnt want just screens.

But I totally understand your point.

When I was offering "prebuilt" templates, all I would show was the screen, but I found myself having to upload the fullsize version for people before they would want to buy, and it took up more time than it was worth, but again, I get your point and have already tried it that way.

I have to do whats easiest for me, the people that buy my stuff, crooks shouldnt steal but they always will, so fuck it.

Holy Shit.

Over fucking whelming response, thank you guys.

Since this was a special, you folks will have to bear with me here.

I will be doing my schedule tomorrow morning, work will be completed by the order of which payment was received.

If you havent emailed me yet, I dont think I can physically take on more work, unless you're not in a rush and can bear with me during this workload, since I am a one man operation.

Again, I got way more work than I thought I would ;) so gimme a day or 2 to sort this out, write it all down, and get it organized.

If I havent replied to you yet, dont worry, I will be up early tomorrow morning and getting all of this together so expect a response sometime tomorrow.

Also, I just want to add: PLEASE bear with me on this, I got a TON of work today, I mean a TON. And Although I am very good with managing my workload and keeping my schedule tight, I have definitely booked myself longer than I had expected, so please keep in mind this was a special and I cant just pump out everyone's orders in a day or two.
