Moral question..
 

If you signed up as an affiliate and checked your stats a few days later, realized a mistake had been made and they were over paying you by several times the signups.....

Would you

A) Keep quiet and spend the cash

b) Keep the cash incase they ask for it back

or..

c) Tell them

I couldn't possibly comment on whether this has happened to me ;)

keep it...it's simply the money they shaved...probably a christmas bonus from them

I'd tell them, they'd probably give you a bonus for your honesty.

I'm not talking about my sig sponsor btw, that would be stupid of me lol

is this a trick way to get some referrals to ec?







btw you tell them otherwise you are no better than a shaving sponsor.

D) Sue them for mental distress for forcing you to endure such a difficult predicament

At the moment its only showing on my stats, i'm wondering if the check will actually arrive with that figure on.

I know if a bank put money in your account by mistake, you have to pay it back by law. I'm just thinking if they realize later they could demand it back...

I really can't say, all i can say is I think what caused it was clicking the "activate account link 3 times" I couln't be bothered to work out where the stats page was, so I clicked the link on the email the first few times b4 bookmarking the proper url...


It seems to have signed me up 3 times with the same site, same referal number..

If you need the cash keep it cause an audit which all sponsors do will catch it.



If you actullay make money and like them tell them so they dont get fucked .

Well I signed up last week and its a couple of hundred, but next month some will rebill so we could be talking quite a bit over a month or 2

I'm a Brit, there's no option D.. unless it's make a fucking choice and end this thread now...

Are you in the same country as them? If not, then I think you get away with it scot free - set yourself up a backup sponsor so you can bail if you need to, and then spend the money ;)

tell them dude... otherwise you're as bad as the sponsors who shave

I don't think it's as bad as shaving, i might wait and see if the check comes with that amount on... I really could do with the cash this month Jan 31st is the yearly tax return / 1st of 2 payments in the year here.

I'd go with "C" they'll probably find out anyways.
