Looks like our new owner is trying his best for the upcoming season.

I start paying attention to baseball in spring training..

As an A's fan, I was less than thrilled to hear the news.....huge upgrade for you guys. Apparently they're going to move Erstad to first and Anderson to center. That makes no sense to me in that 1) He's a gold-glove center fielder and 2) He doesn't hit enough to play first full time.

It's all about the AL this year. Can't wait to see the AL East race. :thumbsup

Because

1) Erstad has beat his body up going balls out all the time.

2) Erstad actually hits better when playing first.

3) They 4 starting outfielders and one has to move. Guillen may be center, if not Anderson.

I go to a few Oakland games a year (in Oakland). My GF is a huge A's fan...makes for interesting season. If you go to any Oakland games this year, let me know and we will have to meet up.

GO CUBBIES! I only watch the A's too watch Mark Ellis since he is from around here.

Anyone here get season tix to their local team? Wondering what prices are in the diff areas.

1) Yes, that's true....but he's still a gold-glove caliber CF.

3) If I were them, I never would have signed Guillen....taken in the context of his career, I think last year is going to end up looking like a big fluke.

Sounds like fun, haven't been to an A's game in years :) I get down to the east bay a good bit, so I'm sure we can arrange something.
