Great Site To Check Out Digital Camera Sample Images

On this site, you can click in and see sample images from just about every camera on the market.

When a gallery comes up you can click in to see more pics from that photographer or refresh the page for more random samples.

The images from the new Canon EOS Digital Rebel 300D are incredible looking.

KRL, if you just want to shoot family pics and print out 8x10's in decent photo quality resolution how many megapixels do you need minimum?

Keep in mind that cameras don't make pictures - people do. The best camera in the world in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to use it will produce shit. And the piece of shit camera in the hands of a professional will yield superior results.

For what it's worth :winkwink:

Speed is everything on a shoot. Hows the 300D on speed?

You can't always tell from specs, ya have to use it in real life.

Looking at the 300D at the Camera shop, it seemed bulkie.

Liked the fell of the Coolpix 5700 - but that is an apple and oranges comparison.

This guy is using a 300d and he's shooting some awesome pics. Shooting birds in flight is probably one of the hardest things to shoot. (that I have ever tryed)

...... the park he shot these is not too far from here

This would have been a cooler pic with a better aperature/shutter setting. Still cool though:

At least 3, but the price of 4's and 5's is really coming down fast now.

In my opinion the best deal on the market is the Canon EOS Digital Rebel 300D. Its an SLR 6.3 Meg that produces absolutely perfect pics for only $999, lens included. (28-90 Equiv).

Canon owns the market right now. Only problem is try finding one in stock. I went to buy one this past week and every store was back ordered on them.

Those pics are amazing.

Its hard to believe you can get such pro level quality at that price point now.

You can also get the that EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM Lens which is the 35mm equivalent of a 90mm to 320mm lens. With the one that comes with the kit and that you're good to go for every kind of shot just about.

What is the best way to make money as a photographer?

If you were to get into photography what would the best area to get into that you could make a nice living from (other than shooting adult content of course)

And how much is that zoom lens?

Hey KRL, you know those sample images on the Canon website that you posted the URL for a little while ago? I've been using them to test out my new photo capable printer. It can do a full A4 borderless photo, looks great on glossy 270gsm (heavy) paper. I'm still experimenting to find the right A4 paper, as you can see some very minor dithering in green areas - but the 6x4" Canon paper is perfect. I can't pick the difference from a professionally printed Kodak photo. In fact, the digital one has much higher resolution than an optically printed film shot; you can see all of the ingrown leg hairs on that chick with the 80s hat and the gummy smile. :Graucho

I was particularly interested in the 300D sample images because I am planning on buying one in the next few months. With this camera and the printer I have a complete system, I never need to go to a photo shop for printing or processing again.
